    He was born on December 21, 1983, in Seoul, South Korea.

    He was raised in Troy, a suburb in Detroit.

    Steven moved to America along with his family when he was 5 years old. He now resides in Los Angeles, California.

    Steven Yeun is the son of Je and June Yeun. His parents own two beauty accessory shops in Detroit, Michigan.

    Steven has one sibling. His younger brother is called Brian Yeun.

    He also has a pet dog called Agnes, which is a mixed breed between Golden Retriever and Poodle.

    It was also 2010 when Steven auditioned for the role of Glenn Rhee in The Walking Dead. Frank Darabont and Denise Huth loved him so much, they chose him for the role.

    He first appeared in TWD in the premier episode ‘Days Gone By‘, where he spoke to Rick Grimes through a walkie-talkie. Rick was currently surrounded by the walking dead, and taking shelter in a tank in the middle of Atlanta.

    Glenn Rhee’s character appears in Telltale’s The Walking Dead game, however, Steven did not supply the voice. Glenn was voiced by Nick Herman.

    In 2011, Steven Yeun was nominated by the Saturn Award’s for ‘The Best Supporting Actor on Television’ for his role of Glenn Rhee.
