The Legend of Zelda series is by far the best-selling role playing, puzzle & action games for Nintendo.

The gaming franchise began in 1987 with the release of the 8bit NES game The Legend of Zelda.

The franchise has been on at least nine consoles to date!

The game was created by Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka and Toshihiko Nakago of Japan.

The idea originally began as a linear, all action, puzzle Mario game.

Zelda’s name came from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s wife of the same name.

It was in this game that Ganon made his first appearance as a pig-type man.

Link has only spoken twice: “Come on!” as a co-op character in Wind Waker, and “Giddy-up!” whilst riding Epona in The Twilight Princess.

    I have been a fan for a long time and link is definitely my favorite character in any Nintendo game, however I do also really like Sheik. My favorite game would have to be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

    as for fact 30, link has said another thing, he says skank when he swings his sword or does the roll attack
